MY STORY

I Built This Practice After Years of Sitting on the Other Side

For years, I worked as a VA Compensation & Pension (C&P) examiner. I sat across from thousands of veterans, evaluating their claims, watching them try to prove conditions they clearly had, but couldn’t document in the language the VA responds to.
I was born and raised in the Chicago suburbs. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Indiana State University. I’m licensed in Illinois with Full Practice Authority and operate from a real medical office in Woodridge, IL, not a virtual address, not a call center, not an overseas operation.
I started Veteran Medical Opinions to fix that. When you order with me, I personally review every page of your records, write the opinion myself, and sign it under my credentials. No call center. No sales team. No outsourced writers. If your records don’t support a favorable opinion, I’ll tell you before any document is prepared, and you won’t be charged.

CREDENTIALS & LICENSURE

Fully Licensed, Fully Authorized

Every opinion is written and signed by a board-certified, state-licensed Advanced Practice Registered Nurse with full prescriptive authority.

Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)

Advanced practice nursing degree from Indiana State University, with clinical specialization in family medicine.
Family Nurse Practitioner, Certified (FNP-C)
Board certification through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), the gold standard for FNPs.

Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN)

Illinois APRN License #277002570, active with Full Practice Authority through 05/31/2028.
National Provider Identifier (NPI)
NPI #1275200149, recognized federal healthcare provider identifier used on every signed opinion.
Why this matters for your claim: Under federal law (38 CFR 3.159(a)(1)), an NP’s medical opinion carries the same evidentiary weight as a physician’s in VA disability claims. The VA cannot reject a medical opinion based on title alone, only on the quality of its reasoning. (Nieves-Rodriguez v. Peake, 2008)

HOW IT WORKS

My Approach

Five things that set this practice apart from claim mills, AI-generated opinion services, and “nationwide network” providers.

01

I Personally Review Every Case

No junior writers. No outsourcing. Every page of your records crosses my desk. Every opinion is signed by me, under my credentials and license.

02

Honest Assessment Before You Pay

If your records don’t support a favorable opinion, I’ll tell you before any document is prepared. You won’t be charged for an opinion I can’t honestly write.

03

24-Hour Turnaround

Once I have your complete records, most opinions are delivered within 24 hours. I know the wait is hard, so I won’t make you sit in a queue.

04

Free Revisions, Honest Follow-Up

If anything needs adjusting, I revise it free of charge. If the VA issues any decision on your claim, email me and we’ll work out the best path forward together.

05

Built on Insider Knowledge

I spent years as a VA C&P examiner. I know the language the VA responds to, and how to frame evidence to those standards. Every opinion is written to meet them.

A REAL OFFICE. A REAL PERSON.

Physical Office in Suburban Chicago

Unlike claim mills with PO boxes and “national” addresses, my practice operates from a real medical office in Woodridge, IL. When you call, you reach me. When you email, I reply personally.
