YOUR RECORDS ARE SAFE

Why send the records to me

A Real Clinician, Not a Claims Company

01

I Do the Work Myself

Every record is read by me, and every opinion is written and signed by me personally. There is no staff writer and no middleman between you and the clinician.

02

I Used to Be the Examiner

Three years conducting VA Compensation and Pension examinations. I know how the VA reads a death certificate against a veteran's service-connected conditions, and what a cause of death opinion has to establish under 38 CFR 3.312 to carry weight.

03

Honest Before You Pay

If the records do not support a link between the death and service, I will tell you before anything is prepared, and you are not charged. I know you are dealing with a loss. I will not take your money for an opinion the VA will not credit.

What the opinion establishes

What a Cause of Death Opinion Does

The VA pays DIC when a service-connected condition was the principal or a contributory cause of the veteran’s death. My opinion reviews the death certificate, the terminal medical records and the veteran’s service-connected ratings, and states whether a service-connected condition caused or materially contributed to the death. That is the medical link the VA needs, and the one a lot of denied DIC claims are missing.
If the veteran was rated totally disabled for the 10 years before death, DIC may be payable without a cause of death opinion. Tell me if that applies and I will say so in the free review.
